Hello all! And welcome to the official blog for Legacy Apparel! We're finishing up our website and should be launching very soon.

Legacy Apparel is a Nashville-based fashion label specializing in redesigning reconstructed clothing to create fashion forward garments ranging from sportswear to casual to couture. We believe that the movement to a more eco-friendly lifestyle can be applied to every aspect of fashion, and we accept the challenge head-on. "Waste not want not" meets the Nashville fashion movement.

The design team is headed by Carter Donovan and Sascha Morello, sometimes former models-turned-designers who were married (to each other) in 2006. They moved from New York City to Nashville in 2008 and decided to combine their talents to form a new label.

Carter is a former model who has contributed to several collections including to Michael Menner's S/S05 menswear collection. He also has designed previous collections under his menswear label 'Solo.'

Sascha holds her degree in fashion design. She has released three previous collections under her label 'Angry Mob.' She has modeled for Amanda Ramirez and Tali Graves, among other well-known designers. She also has an eco-friendly accessories line 'sascha.'.
